Instructions for Authors

Full Paper Submission

All authors are required to submit a full paper to Therminic 2016. The papers will be made available after the conference through the IEEE Xplore data base.

The deadline for final paper upload has been extended to August 29.

You need to submit:
1. Your full paper in pdf format
2. Your full paper in .coc or .docx format
3. The signed copyright form.

Please log into the conference system to upload your final paper. While you are uploading the paper, you will also be asked to identify the presenting author and to provide a short bio of him or her for the session chair.

Presentation Guide for Oral Presenters

There is no template for the presentation. Speakers are kindly asked to see the session chair 10 minutes before the session and to bring their  presentation on a stick, a laptop will be provided. Each presentation is scheduled for 20 minutes, please allow 5 minutes for Q&A at the end.

Presentation Guide for Poster Presenters

The poster session is scheduled for Wednesday, September 25, 6:30 – 8:00pm. Presenters are kindly asked to be present for the duration of the poster presentation session.

Please note, that due to the large number of posters we have this year, there will be two one-hour Poster Introduction Sessions, one on Wednesday and one on Thursday. Please check the online-program to find out which session you are scheduled for. In these sessions each presenter has 5 minutes time to present the important point of his or her poster supported by 1-2 slides.

Please bring your printed poster to the conference. The format should be A0 (84.1 x 118.9 cm, portrait style). There is no template for the poster, but please try to be simple and direct in your presentation. Use short phrases and “bulleted” text throughout and avoid long narrative paragraphs.

Assistance for hanging the posters will be available. All posters should hang by Wednesday lunchtime and must be picked up by Thursday evening. Posters that have not been picked up will not be kept.
