Therminic 2015
From September 30 – October 2, 2015 the 21st International Workshop on Thermal Investigation of ICs and Systems (Therminic 2015) took place in Paris. With 3 keynotes, 43 technical presentations in 12 sessions and 22 posters, Therminic was a truly immersive experience for the 100 conference delegates and the exhibiting companies participating.
We were particularly pleased by the variety of conference participants. Attendees from 19 different countries and an equal mix of industry and academia professionals and experts took full advantage of the conference’s networking opportunities. The conference dinner on Thursday evening was a particular highlight, taking the participants on a cruise along the river Seine.
Our congratulations go to the winners of the Best Paper Award (Mohamad Abo Ras et al for their paper on “LaTIMA – an Innovative Test Stand for Thermal and Electrical Characterization of Highly Conductive Metals, Die Attach, and Substrate Materials”) and Best Poster Award (Eric Monier-Vinard et al for their work on “Experimental Characterization of DELPHI Compact Thermal Model For Surface-Mounted Soft Magnetic Composite Inductor”)
