THERMINIC 2014 – A Resounding Success!
Celebrating the 20th Anniversary of this workshop, THERMINIC 2014 was held at Devonport House hotel in the heart of Maritime Greenwich – a Unesco World Heritage Site. Organised by the University of Greenwich , this event attracted over 100 conference delegates from 21 countries. The workshop covered the entire range of thermal management topics which were presented over three days and included invited keynote presentations on power electronics, solid state lighting, and microfluidic cooling.
To celebrate this anniversary event, the conference dinner took place aboard a river cruise along the River Thames allowing attendees to enjoy the entertainment and see the wonderful sights of London.
The organisers are particularly pleased that almost half of the participants came from industry and, based on the networking observed on the conference floor and at the conference dinner, it seems everyone went home with new contacts and insights.
