THERMINIC 2013 - A Resounding Success!

From September 25-27, 2013 the 19th International Workshop on Thermal Investigations of ICs and Systems  - THERMINIC 2013 took place at the Fraunhofer Forum in the center of Berlin. With 54 presentations in 14 sessions, 3 keynotes and 23 posters, THERMINIC 2013 was a truly immersive experience for the more than 100 conference delegates representing 20 countries. The conference covered the entire range of topics in thermal investigations, starting with thermal management concepts, design and simulation, right up to more application-specific topics, e.g. from the realms of solid state lighting and power electronics.

The organisers are particularly pleased that almost half of the participants came from industry and, based on the networking observed on the conference floor and at the conference dinner, it seems everyone went home with new contacts and insights.
